Samode Haveli Heritage Jaipur

Unexpected and charming, Samode Haveli is a self-contained, intimate, heritage hotel, hidden deep in the folds of the busy streets of old Jaipur.
A nobleman's urban abode restored to perfection, the Haveli emerges, as if from nowhere at the end of a narrow lane - an oasis of serenity in the depths of the lively city. Whenever you come to visit the treasures of Jaipur, this is the hotel you will want to make your home.
A quintessential Indo-Saracenic regal residence, Samode Haveli is seeped in history and tradition, and yet offers its guests contemporary luxuries and the impeccable hospitality and courtesy that are the signature style of the Samode group of hotels.

History
Facing North, away from the scorching Rajasthan sun, Samode Haveli was built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur by Rawal Sheo Singhji as the manor house for the royal family. It reflected the style and elegance of the family and the art and architecture of the times and culture, all of which have been impressively restored today. A special feature of the Haveli, the elephant ramp at the entrance, was constructed in the 1940's for the marriage ceremony of the late Rawal Sahib's aunt.

Each room has a distinctive character that invites you to lie back against luxurious bolsters on antique couches or sit back and flip through the channels on your TV screens.
Built across many levels, the former royal apartments are now deluxe rooms and suites that have retained the exquisite luxuriousness of the past with contemporary amenities. The private courtyards and balconies look out upon the charming pool, fountain courts and gardens of the Haveli.

The spectacular Sheesh Mahal (palace of mirrors) suite is a sensual treat with its curved arches, florid hand-painted murals and glistening mirror work.
